Large frame w/ large bridge

I'm looking for a frame around 62-64 eye with a 20-22 bridge. I have been unable to locate one. Please help. I've checked w/ Safilo, Marchon, Clearvision, Signature, Viva/Savvy, Charmant, Luxottica.:hammer:

Somtimes Tura has a big one. Also check out Ronor's Titan Flex (not the line, the model).

Doesn't Luxottica still make the Carlos? It did come in a 62-24, 62-22, 64-22, 64-20.

Luxottica does still make the Carlos. Unfortunately, it only comes in shiny gold (I need silver), and any of those special sizes are non-returnable (this guy has a really big head so I would feel more comfortable if I could order a few things for him to try on) . Thanks for the input, though! I actually did find two frames that I think might work. By the way, I just discovered this board and I love it! Everyone is so helpful!

You can now get the Big Dan frame from cvision as I have bought a few for some of my pts. that require a larger frame.

If the rx isn't too strong, you might be able to get away with a Silhouette Minimal art with a custom lens shape.I believe they have a 21mm bridge availible, and they won't look too dated.

If there would have been an Optiboard 30-40 years ago the same question wouild have popped up perodically. The Afro-American with a wide nose base always has been a neglected species in the optical frame manufacturing and it seem to be going on.

Wonder if ever some frame manufacturer will pick up this idea.

This may be a good idea. I havent such a big frame and bridge items in my collection. May be people with wide nose base is just a small part of population but I will investigate the possibility to make series for those people.

Marchon's Jonathan comes all the way up to a 66 eye size.

You will probbly be the only one catering to this problem if you do it. And there is plenty of wide noses that can make you rich. Of course I expect my commisssion for a good idea.

If I can get rich from this idea, I don't mind to give you commission. Just give me the rate you want.
