    Trust

Another example of why I don't trust "big business". This behavior is indicative of the corporate attitude that will make privatized Social Security accounts unsafe.

"Newell Rubbermaid Inc.'s Graco unit was fined a record $4 million for not promptly reporting hundreds of injuries to children and six deaths involving the company's highchairs, strollers and other products."

To be fair, Graco has been recently acquired by Newll Rubbermaid so their (NR)current management team is not the one culpable. This doen't make me angry at big business--they are like everyone else, some good, some bad, some ugly. What makes me mad is that under Bush's tort reform, you get $250,000--max--for your dead kid, even though Graco knowingly kept defective product on the market.

So is a Pinto, after it's been rear-ended.

There are alot of foolish law suits that you can bring up. There are also alot of injuries and deaths caused by and convered up by big companies, some of whom would continue, if not sued or prosecuted.
