Darryl,
I've got good news and bad news. The good news first. Thats a great site! The bad news is that its NEVER going to be finished....come to think of it, thats probably good news too.
Its a lot less intimidating than Ophthalmic Optics! :bbg: Its also neat when you click on forums, to be brought right back to Optiboard. I even registered.
Congratulations and good luck with it!

I just got done looking at the new website at http://www.clex.co.kr/ , deffinately one of the better sites from an oriental lens company. A huge improvement over the old one.
P.S. The also sell some really NICE merchandise.
Darryl, your site looks great! What a wonderful tool for students and for those of us who are a long way away from our books.
Thanks for the positive feedback, everyone.
Best regards,
Darryl

I just finished the list of all optical websites I have come accross, and have listed them in order of success of traffic (visitors) going to them. (Alexa rating)
I have also marked the Google PR rating for each one.
The interesting part is that some excellent sites, which have a Google rating higher than 4/10 (quality), are not doing so well traffic wise.
If anybody knows of any not listed optical websites please let me know and I will add them.
You can go to the listing directly at:
eye Topics - a great new site geared towards the consumer giving advice on everything eye related.
Lens 101 Contact Lenses Forum - a great new site for advice on contact lenses geared towards the consumer.
.
Visit eye Topics for detailed consumer information on Contact Lenses, Eyeglasses, Sunglasses, Reading Glasses, Safety Eyewear, LASIK & Vision Surgery, Nutrition & Vision, Vision Therapy, Eye Exams, The Sense of Sight, Vision Disorders, Eye Health, Children's Vision, Computers & Vision, Vision & Aging & Low Vision
Lens 101 an open discussion of contact lenses
Are you listed in Vision Directory?
Yikes... saw the tick on the eye lid on your site... oh my :D

My partner said will change the whole page in the future.

Optician Magazine in Britain recently relaunched its website:
www.opticianonline.net
Fivebatch is probably too specialised for most here.
Yjay's right Lawrence....................the smaller the number the more traffic you are reaching. Go on Yahoo which has a rating of 1. Down load the Alexa toolbar then click on the rating number and you can read all aboutm how it is done.Originally Posted by Lawrence Yau
Optiboard has had a tremendous improvement in ranking. It is updated manually every day by new posts.
It does not matter if you have a new site...............you have to get it out into the web. You are now using an automatic hit counter which I just advanced by 7 figures...............will count every time you refresh. You have to to update manually every day to get results.
