    Confused NCLE Test: Help!

    Hi Everyone!
I am currently studying to take the NCLE, to become a licensed contact lens fitter. The doctors I work for have some fitting books, but they are OLD. I am trying to study but I dont know how much of the "old school" stuff is going to be on the exam, I.E. Outdated cleaning methods, outdated diagnostic tools that we never use...
If anyone has ANY advice, or can suggest any good books please let me know. I appreciate any help!!

There will be a Contact Lens Review Course offered in California in April...Go to www.quantumoptical.com for details. Click on live conferences and go to the Opti courses.

    Hope this helps.

    Book

I would suggest the Contact Lens Manual from the Contact Lens Society of America (CLSA) you can order it through their website at http://www.clsa.info or go to their site and get their number. I was able to talk the price down. It helped me pass the test, oh and they are affiliated with the National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE) so the info comes from the horses mouth.

Next time work for younger doctors!

Seriously if you comprehend the CLSA manual, you will know a lot more than you need for the test except possilbly the silly questions about how to keep inventory.
