Any Tips On Locating Discontinued Frames?

Do you guys have any tips on how to find frames that are no longer in production? I'm looking for Silhouette's model 1833 that were purchased about 4 years ago. Best guess would be they were first in production around 1996 I've tried Ebay with no luck.

I may sound like an idiot but did you try Silhouette?
Also let them check their Austrian stock!

I've got one coming from Austria now. All I did was mention that the customer had a certain frame before and wanted a duplicate and they brought it up. Just ask customer service. I should mention that the frame I am waiting on will take a month to get here.
