Dear Diane,

I am fine with my family by the grace of the almighty God. At least 10 people, most of them children have died and several other injured when the killer waves swamped several beaches in Dar-Es-Salaam. Fishermen suffered losses from destruction of fishing gears and some have not returned after putting out to sea.

Dar-Es-Salaam also experiences stormy weather since yesterday and power black out lasted 18 hours in most part of the city. Temperatures dropped to 26C(we have summer, average temp is 34C) an unusual weather for this time of the year.
