    Help please!!!

I am search of a tool for engraving safety etchings into safety lenses. I do not know the name of this or a source for one of these tools. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know the name of the tool or where to find it. But I don't believe that you can just etch a mark onto a lens and have them qualify as safety glasses. You need to be an approved lab and have a registered logo. I believe with OSHA.

I was under the understanding that if you did the proper safety testing in your lab and could provide proof of this testing it qualified, but I my be wrong. I need to further research this. Thanks for the comment.

UFRICH, You might want to understand the "risk" of this vs. the profitablility...some things just aren't worth the grief?

That is definately something we are weighing. It is for a small company in the area. Right now we are gathering all of the cost involved in doing this project befroe we make any proposals.

    Rich:

We are using what was originally an air operated spark plug cleaner, we simply glued a rubber disk with our initials over the hole the spark plug originally went in. I'm not sure where we got the rubber disks made and I believe they had to be registered with OSHA. I'll try to get more info to you as sson as possible.
