    I Love The History Channel

I was watching The History Channel this morning and the program reminded me of the following news item. I couldn't help but think of the Republican indignation surrounding some of Clinton's outgoing executive orders. I guess he was just following Papa George's lead::angry:

"This event took place on December 24, 1992, and was reported in the The New York Times the following day.

Bush pardons 6 in Iran affair, aborting a Weinberger trial; Prosecutor assails 'COVER UP'.

Special to The New York Times Six years after the arms-for-hostages scandal began to cast a shadow that would darken two Administrations, President Bush today granted full pardons to six former officials in Ronald Reagan's Administration, including former Defense Secretary Caspar W. Weinberger."

I doubt that either the Republicans or the Democrats would benefit from looking closely at recent Presidential pardons and similar executive orders to stop action by prosecutors. It's all about the past -- pardons. Are you sure that one is worth a  -- "angry" emoticon? (Emoticon: geek talk for all the smilies and other faces.) I'm worried about you running out of steam. There's still over a month before the national election. :)
