Need Glasses

Hi... Looks like a great forum.........I m 44 and near vision is...a challenge all of a sudden......Last week, out with a friend at a restaurant and as I struggled with menu he lent me his glasses.....Perfectly clear....They were 2.00 strength.......Later borrowed them to read a book and all was great......Another friend told me that I am too young for such strength....tried her weaker ones and they worked great as well.........seems every pair I try on really helps.... Any thoughts on what to do

With all due respect, the first thing you need to do is get an eye exam from an Optometrist. ;)
