    Discs between hinge barrels

    Some manufacturers use some sort of disc between hinge barrels, presumably to prevent over-loosening of hinges....but once they fall out, they are extremely difficult to repair...anyone have any tips?

    Lens thickness & fitted back vertex distance

    I do not understand why we don't have to consider Rx lens thickness when measuring fitted back vertex distance. Especially in a high plus lens the thickness is significant and the "back" of the lens...

    Adhesive for lens to metal?

    Lets say you have a drill mount with a post that isn't quite long enough...but is fairly secure even without a nut on it because of a tight notch...do you think Gorilla Glue will help secure the post...
