Hi Guys,
I've seen two Eyeglasses Prescriptions now with a MR Dry above the Rx layout. MR Dry is not the name of the Pt. The Pt name is indicated on the Rx. Has anyone seen this? What does it mean?

It seems to be a gray area because even now if you Google occupational lenses which are really computer progressive the different lens manufacturers are not on the same page. Some say use...
Hi Guys,
I'm seeing conflicting PD for this type of lens. It is based on the manufacturer?
For a regular Distance/Reading PAL the Distance PD is used - standard. For the Intermediate/Reading PAL I...
yeah, i see it. one of those questions where the answer is more than just the formula.
Ans for Ques 17 is a) 71mm. Reason: MBS = (frame PD/geometric center distance - person PD) + ED. mbs = ((54 +16) - 64) + 64. mbs = (70-64) + 64. mbs = 6 + 64 = 70. 71mm is within 1mm tolerance

My employer just required me to place my Licensed number on my name tag in addition to my Name and Title. I'm not a fan of openly displaying my Lic# as i think it should be personal as it could be...

^^^Thanks for replying tmorse. What i'm finding with these employers is that it's the license that counts. Having a Basic or Advanced ABO does not seem to have any immediate extrinsic benefit at the...

Thank you all guys...i was leaning the BO way myself. People seem to be inventing their own standards...weird.

I'm having problems too with customer expectations. They have a choice to buy plano polarized sunglasses or to get the same sunglasses as Rx. The problem arises when the Rx are not as dark as the...
Can anyone tell me why prescription sunglasses are generally less dark than plano sunglasses of the same type and model? In general a sunglass bought off the shelf would be more darker than the same...
