I find that most movies with so much build up turn out to be disappointing. I'm sure Brokeback Mountain is a really good movie, but it's hard to live up to all the hype.

In Florida, legally the Rx is expired after 5 years. A doc can put an earlier expiration date, if he chooses.

I don't disagree with duplication. I guess the point of my starting this thread is that the way the laws are written is very confusing. I am new to the field and want to be able to answer questions...

Then what is the purpose of having an expiration date on an Rx? All medical Rx's have an expiration date. Even if they aren't "deadly".

Are we talking only optical? Then Lux. But I believe Walmart is putting many other types of businesses out of commission, as well as optical.

I wasn't really complaining. It is just confusing to the cusomer when you explain to them that you can't use the Rx that expired 6 months ago, but you can remake the same Rx if you can take it off...

I wonder if anyone can explain why (in Florida) we can duplicate a pair of ten year old lenses, but can't use a ten year old Rx? This doesn't make sense to me, am I alone?:confused: I would think if...
