I have the Attitude Tracer/Blocker by Briot. It has the Gravitech feature, and i works well. That said, it's good that it also has a tracer for high cyl jobs, wrap jobs, etc.

Your key is located in a different place than mine. After turning the key, try tilting the cover toward you. I don't think it will be helpful to inspect the cable. It is unlikely to be severed...

To open the machine, there's a place for a key-type thing on the upper part of the back of the cover. Once it's unlocked, the cover lifts off.

I always left my machine on to avoid the low battery...

There have been occasions when I've used a Hot Fingers device and pushed the hinges deeper on a zyl frame to eliminate the splaying. You've got to know what you're doing, though!

It is disappointing when the production arm of the business isn't as good as the marketing arm.

For glass, especially free-form glass, though, they're still the best option.
