Eschewing politics is also a political choice.
Safilo.
The new Gucci is selling all right at our place. 2ish units per week, which is pretty standard for a "high-end" line in our optical. I'm not too fond of them personally; just a bunch of 51-55mm dark...
Agreed. I think that statement was accurate in the early days of digital PALs, but not any more.
Wow. I'm stunned to learn this lens was still available. We did a lot of VIPs and XLs when I was first starting in 1989.
My parents' home town of Williamsport, PA is an interesting case study. They built a mall about 10 miles out of town in the early 80s and downtown declined terribly. Store closures right and left,...
Don't neglect the frame material in this conversation. The Ray-Ban New Wayfarer, in particular, will not mold to fit high or low base curves at all. Make sure you're not putting a patient with a...
Oof. That one will keep you up nights.
Just guessing: so they don't have to abide by existing labs' more expensive high quality standards?
Kate Spade cases are always just perfect. I'm also partial to John Varvatos, and I loved the folding Polaroid cases.
I got the first dose of Pfizer on Thursday. Big injection site pain for two and a half days. Serious, flu-like body aches for a day and a half, especially in my legs and back. All good now. Looking...
Absolutely. Generally true for DVO as well.
That said, I always take an OC height if only to reinforce to patients that there are specifics of customization that they aren't getting online or at...
I have an appointment for my first shot this afternoon. Two previous appointments were canceled without explanation, so I'm crossing my fingers.
If the frame isn't too deep, I'd put it a mm or two above center. If it's a deeper frame, take an OC approximating LOS to reading material.
Sounds you need to have a talk with an actual optician about your lenses and your expectations for them.
I don't think that's going to work in any drill mount, regardless of how long the posts are. At that power, and with that much prism, you're going to have prohibitively thick edges.
I find PhotoFusion Grey to be very purple compared to Transitions or SunSync.
That's infuriating.
Look at Nassau. The Synergy Crystal AR compares very favorably with mid-level Crizal and TechShield coatings at a fraction of the price. Even their lowest-end Lighten Up Sentinel AR hugely...
I think they make the best lenses in the world. Literally the best. But everything else about the company in the US is a train wreck crashing into a dumpster full of diapers on fire. Two massive...
Okay. I get that. But Zeiss changing their entire progressive lens portfolio twice in five years is not better than just renaming existing designs.
For a company that makes such superlative lenses, Zeiss sure does a crappy job at selling them and supporting the people who dispense them.
Nice of Zeiss to rename all of their lenses four years ago, then do it all again now.
This discussion is making me miss Chris Ryser something awful.
