As already stated it depends on the distance. I have seen some with the seat all the way forward and others that you can't even see the driver... seat back way reclined and all the way back.

In most cases it's the HC not the material. Exceptions 1.498 and 1.56 don' require a HC although 1.56 is better to have it at least on the front and if it's surfaced the back side will absorb color...

Educate me. I thought Driveware darkens when driving. I thought xtra actve started off with a 20 to 30% tint and didn't change appreciably when driving?
