right..i center the targets without the lenses in..and then i put the lenses in.and for example i meansure the pd to be 30/32. how do i know if thats their pd..or their pd is 30/30 and they are...
thanks..you agree with how i checked for vertical prims...but what about horizontal. cause it's hard to tell if her pd really was waht it was measured to be on the new glasses...or was she looking...

with such a problem where the patien had to push her glasses to the right....with a 4 mm change...that seems like a lot. but hey..if it works.it works. maybe she was used to seing therough prsim...
so raising the seg height would correct the pushing up the frames. but changing both of the pds closer togehter...wouldn't htat mean the pd would be too close. casue the orginal problem was that...
with the ovation..you get good distance and good near..but with the ellipse...both will be good stuff..but the distance will be a bit better compared to the reading just because it's a shorter...
as for the pushing up the glasses...you figured that problem out already. good job!
try to take mono pds with occludingthe eye...the oc is probably not right in one of the eyes thast why she has to push it over.
ovation or the ellipse. if they want a shallow frame..but still do quite a bit of reading..i go ovation..but if htey like distance..i go with ellipse. but either one is fine.
