Here it just depends on which uni they went to, some teach in +cyl, some in -cyl. But -cyl is used exclusively for contact lenses in the UK so that seems more 'natural' to me.

Would agree with above, toric R sph L. Would go with a daily disposable as your px sounds ideal for that (won't wear glasses, CBA with cleaning regime).
