This is pretty ridiculous, VSP is still having issues during working hours. Not just one day but two days in a row. Can't get authorizations, can't get ahold of customer service. Wow.
That's exactly how my desk looks right now.
Both VSP and EyeMeds complete systems are down. Can't think of a worse time for this to happen.
What an interesting concept,
"Craig said pricing will be based on a three-tiered plan that lets customers select the level of service and lens design they want. He said the highest level of service...
I don't think I've seen my QSpex rep in about a year, I wasn't happy with their re-designed/bigger mold filling machine (I still use the smaller machine that was first released). I think the major...
Thanks Lenny I appreciate your knowledge
Does anyone have any info on what type of Progressive lens they're using? $295.00 for frames and lenses is quite a high price considering it's an internet vendor.
Barry, how long did it take to get your orders?
Finally had my Vistakon rep come in yesterday and give us the low down. I'm actually really happy with the fixed pricing structure. However I did stock up on a bunch of 6 packs just a week ago,...
Uprise looks amazing, unfortunately last time I checked they can't port over our Compulink information which is a big set back. I definitely don't want to start from scratch.
Daniel, I'm leaning towards a Surface myself, seems like it's the best and easiest option. My problem is all of our data is on a server that isn't on a wireless connection. Basically all of our PCs...
Thanks for the info, I was worried the mirroring/remote desktop thing would be slow
As a rule of thumb I wouldn't argue with the customer what they need.
I appreciate the knowledge fjpod
I haven't heard of this. Can someone link a news post to this?
I do have a wireless router, but the server that holds our software isn't connected to it.
Alright so we are currently running Compulink in our office, and our Dr would like to use a tablet (windows) for our EHR software and go from room to room with it. Our software is basically hooked up...
This news is a bummer, Seems like Lux is just gobbling up any and all brand names that matter.
For anyone still looking for the Graphite Green availability here is the list, it's limited for right now. More to come after the summer....
Wow I don't think I've ever seen a more horrible roll out of a new website than Spectera, everything is super buggy, can't find customers in their system, seems like you can only use Internet...
Time and time again, whenever I'm in a pickle, US Optical always pulls through for me when other labs fail.
Just today I had a client who was leaving out of country for a few months and needed...
I am getting crazy problems with bubbles in my molds, tell me more about heating up the polymer.
Nice work Barry!
How is this possible? There are two opticals, both down the street from me, that are considered "In Network" by VSP. And I know for a fact that they're both optician owned. I called VSP and asked...
