Design. If you have access to IOT, I would suggest the Ultimate B or Ultimate Mobile.
Except, short corridors do not help with intermediate vision. The OP was specific about intermediate vision.
There’s this phenomenon called night myopia, where the average wearer “supposedly” benefits from a -.25 correction for low light. Or the pupil dilation under low light that a specific AR can...
That is a genuine WTAF moment. I’ve seen plenty of bat sh1t crazy in my optical career. Nothing like this.
All due respect. I disagree. I own multiple OVVOs and have never had problems with them.
Flexon is a huge sector of our business, and I see warranty redos more than I care for. Marchon is...
I would expect it is. He’s expecting his PAL to work the same as his occupational PAL. It never will. Heaven forbid when his add changes by 1/2D, and the corridor narrows more.
I was going to stay out of this, but…..
Patient is a habitual specialty lens wearer wanting a PAL to try to do the same. Even with an intermediate biased design, this is a lose/lose situation. ...
Urban Cowboy line of eyewear….
Common practice w/compensated FF wraps. Not so common with traditional toric grinds.
I’ve decided to stay out of this conversation, as I’ve seen many “personal preference” responses. This is my final addition to this thread.
Just know this. TVX can become less impact resistant...
We would grind the required prism without compensating for PD.
And yes, no FF, just a traditional molded pal.
All the haters out there……Poly was crap when it was introduced as a lens option. Then came CDs. This is when poly cleaned up it’s act, and has improved as an optical material.
The cost/benefit...
It is a good line, but the A/B ratio sucks for anything requiring 6BC or higher.
This is just sad. I’m an audiophile. S/N is the holy grail for audio. Components. Bass traps. Near field reflection control. Tuning. Speaker placement. I employ a 1/3 octave spectrum analyzer...
Simple answer? No. Not until the cataract(s) are removed. This is not a lens material issue.
1. Pricing does depend on contracts/business size.
2. Your Briot blocker is useless for the NBL. The NBL is a no block solution. You won’t need a lensmeter, either.
3. It’s faster than...

not an oleo/hydro coating that smudges it. Ever.
Specific gravity, my friend, not index of refraction.
That said, decentration due to frame size can negate specific gravity savings due to added thickness. It's a delicate balance.
As i am packing for my trip to New York..........
Some of us have such limited space, that we cannot add more coaters. Imagine squeezing 2 FF lines, 6 edgers, 2 coaters and 2 Fusions in a 3000 sq...

1. A pound of a.) feathers or a pound of b.) lead? Both are 1 lb
2. A dice-sized chunk of a.) trivex or b.) polycarbonate? B
3. A kid who is +9.00 in a.) polycarbonate or...
Please temper this with CR39……We, labs, have to choose between HC for AR vs tints. Most tintable HCs don’t play well w/AR. Most AR compatible HCs don’t tint well.
Most modern edgers can countersink via notches, plus, extended bushings are also available for compression fits. I’ve had to do this more often than I should.

For average POW RXs, vertex is the least effect measurement. Instead, panoramic angle/wrap/frame form and panto are more effective.
Most RXs that would benefit from FF are generally out of range...
