We do a lot of chem clips and when we do them on silhouettes we drill into the lens for the silh chassie to be mounted in or deep into the lenses vs. sticking out so that the chem slip will fit...

I would call the lab you use. They should be the quickest route to the questions you have and much better than just hearing our "general" answers which it seems you may already know.

I've never sold crizal as the OD I work for and lab we use don't think it's great for the price. I've had patients bring in their glasses that they say have crizal on it and it's never impressed me....

Tell them it is their beloved Zeiss lens and they'll like it. Placebo is very powerful. "I must have crizal coatings!" etc etc etc etc...

I run their Shar vela poly on an older kappa edger-I used anti-slip pads and have almost no slippage ever.

Anyone use Vision Ease photochromic or their LifeRx photochromic lens? I do and they seem to work fine if not great. Haven't compared them to other brands though.
