Hi,
I found this interesting article on the web:(http://www.iovs.org/cgi/content/abstract/46/3/974).
It basically says that myopia does not impact on the thickness of the retina. I had raised...
Hi,
Does anyone know if there is anything being developed to reduce the haze on high index contactsm I am a high myope and this is the only downside for me of using RGPs.
Cheers:nerd:
I think that is the best option - I tend to wear my RGPs in the Summer I am -14 so I can empathise with your situation. They really are the best thing for people n our situation.
With regards to...
sounds good, thank you.
Well all of it really - is there a set of performance standards(national/international) that you have to use?
Heres how they do it http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2004/10/041030152142.htm

I caught a story baout this lense on CBs - I think you can still view the story- they look amazing up to about -36/27 correction I think!
I would be interested in hearing people's view son whether it will ever be possible to change the shape of the sclera? Would this not address a lot of the rpobelms casued by abnormal eye shapes, not...
:shiner: Once a retina has been reattached how secure is it? I have heard of boxers going back to the ring following repair - does this mean the retina is as secure as it was pre-detachment?
I suppose the nirvana for myopic refractive correction is the reshaping of the sclera as this would address both refractive and retinal problems?
Would this ever be possible?
That is fascinating research - I had spoken to a retinal specialist who was conviced the shape of the ye had little to do with retinal detachment and it was more to do with lattice degeneration. His...
