Achromatic Lens Design
Hi all,
I have encountered a design problem in my that I would like to consult about the optimal way approach and solve it:
Design an achromatic lens with the following properties (show solution steps):
Effective focal Length – 10mm
Number of lens elements – 2 (4 spherical surfaces)
F-number – 5.0
Wavelengths – 450nm and 630nm
Field of view – 00 (only consider the on-axis field)
Supplied glasses:

What should I take into account, the steps the need to be done, and what do you think should be the intuition regarding dispersion and optical power?
Thanks!
