Had a patient reuse a older drill mount frame...the lab broke the bridge. Also, one our opticians incorrectly identified the frame, and the markings are loooooong gone. Does anybody know of a "generic" drill mount bridge? Is that a thing?

I would be worried it would throw off the PD's depending on the dbl of the older bridge.Quote:

Most of the compression mounts are interchangeable. I have replaced many unknown broken drill mount bridges with Silhouettes. Just make sure to match the dbl within 1 mm
While most of them use 1.4 mm holes, some are 1.5 mm or 1.6 mm.
Well, as long as you gave them the old "Well, with a frame in this condition..." speech when they handed it over, I don't see a problem with contacting the person.
