UW operates in the jurisdiction of Ontario and acquires subsidies from the Ministry of Education (funded by Ontario taxpayers) to educate students. They have no obligation to educate students from other provinces, unless there are specific arrangements (financial) to do so. If BC wants more optometrists, they can exercise their right to open an optometry school in their province.Quote:
