Alger Brush II Alternative

Hello,
We are looking at a new Alger Brush. They are uses perhaps 10 times a year. Every few months or so, they die. These are the blue Alger Brush II units. Battery dead, clip broken, stuck battery, etc. Are there any ALTERNATIVE tools that are more durable?
