ABO Certified Optician - Hudson, WI (Minneapolis-St. Paul Area)

Christenson Vision Care has an opening for an Optician at our Hudson clinic. The work schedule is Monday-Friday with hours ranging between 8:00AM-6:00PM. The qualified candidate must be confident and professional with good patient communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere.
Duties include assisting patients in the selection, ordering, verifying and dispensing of eyeglasses and contact lenses in order to best fit their vision and comfort needs. This position serves as a link between the doctors and labs in interpreting prescriptions and visual needs; performs eyeglass repairs and adjustments; is responsible for billing of purchased materials accurately and efficiently; as well as other various office duties.
Optician experience required, with preference given to ABO certification.

Good people skills working closely with customers of all ages, from young children to senior citizens.
Ability to customize, problem solve, and adjust eyeglasses to patient's needs.
