Right now, its still a major pain, and lots of bugs and pitfalls.
Maybe they'll get it ironed out. Maybe not.
Be aware, all the normal Maui restrictions on total power and materials specific to each sun frame still apply. So just because a patient only wants the "covered" poly on their plan for example, they can't always have it and may have to pay a LOT more. Too bad for them I guess. LOL
Is the only difference that the optom. no longer gets a private invoice from MJ and also incurs charge backs from VSP?
What about filing? Do you itemized lens options or is there a MJ complete selection on eyefinity?
There are *sort-of* MJ specific drop downs now for some things. Frankly, the MJ system through their own website is simple and easy to use. With slimy VSP hands now in that cookie jar, the process is every bit as much a circus as I expected it would be. We've tried to submit 4 orders through our practice, and they rejected and cancelled 3 of them at Maui because the VSP system pushed through lens color and treatment options that don't exist in the the MJ universe. *shrug*
