Thanks - Yeah I know some labs won't drill any number of materials. I will mention that in the upcoming video. I also mention that experience like yours with 1.74 (and what Barry said) should be the true guide over any blanket lab policy.Quote:

I find plus powers to be the real difficult ones to deal with, of course the specific rimless in question matters a lot. I find breakage and redos are for sure a bigger issue with these.
I generally prefer almost knife edge trivex than thicker edged 1.6 or 1.67.
Lindbergs for example - I find trivex on plus to be a miraculous material, if you can get a flat base and thin edge surfacing. This is a bit of an art, but done right you can dispense with confidence.
We do a lot of rimless, and we do it all in house.
Barry is right - consider your fit and the index comes later.
