I wanted you all to see a little of my handy work. I've got another one finished but don't have the newest pictures of it yet. Steve was kind enough to let me post this here so I say thank you and enjoy.
Steve also suggested that if any of you have any interesting designs to please put them on for all to see.

If a car mechanic gets 60 bucks and hour....whats that little puppy worth? Its just your luck that some rich Texan oilmagnate -7 myope with a PD of 56 won't be able to live without a pair of those!:) :) Be care what you pray for.....you might get it!

Very Impressive Darris.
I used to make similar pieces back in the 70's for select clients. One of my favorites, being a true Texas born son, was a pair shaped like the state. My wife worked @ Foleys (big department store in Tx) so I put a small rhinestone for Houston, city name next to it, and my wife's initials in the corner. Sold the rights to a fellow and he had them mass produced - the frame used to be listed in the Frames catalog.
Also made peoples initials, flowers, the 4 suits of cards, etc. All 3-piece rimless with engravings (Hermes engraver). Made my own templates for the engraver too. Made some good money in specialty work. And was certainly more fun than the standard Rx work.
Loads of work, but very satisfying. Keep it up and post some more photos of the projects.
