hydrophobic coatings for client with persistent tears
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here has any recommendations for a client of mine who has a tear duct issue leading him to tearing throughout the day where the tears land on his lenses (this is an elderly individual).
The tears generally just accumulate, at least in part, on his lenses and he has to constantly clean them.
Is there any particular hydrophobic coating (from any lab) which would best address this so the tears roll off most effectively?
Thanks,
David

Hydrophobic coatings are no forever products. They wear off, mostly by the action of abrasive cleaning the lenses.
Get your hands on some renewable product, as in a spray bottle and have your customer used it.
