Optician: Immediate Opening in Saint Petersburg Florida

Lifetime Vision Care is seeking an experienced full time optician to manage our optical sales department. Successful candidate will be responsible for assisting patients with product selections, lab ordering, verification and dispensing. Solid optical skills in manual lensometry, measuring for standard and PAL lens designs and dispensing and repairs/adjustments are key skills. Experience with edging and tinting lenses is desirable. Candidate will manage purchase will work with frame vendors directly and is expected to manage inventory to keep stock current (no discontinued stock -all returns are expected to be for full credit). Contact lens insertion and removal skills as well as pretesting skills are desirable as well.

Compensation is $16 to $18 per hour depending on experience. Paid time off, holidays, health insurance, and sick days.
