Eyemed Nassau In-Office Finishing Situation

Hello!

I am wondering if anyone who is in an opt out state can tell me if Eyemed is indeed able to force us to use Nassau for in office finishing? Can they legally kick us out of the In office finishing program if we do not comply? I cannot get a straight answer out of Eyemed and Nassau has no idea.

Any help would be appreciated!

From what I understand, if you have already opted out of their lab services, then that will not effect you. Hope that helps.

So we use their surfacing lab for progressives and IOF for single vision. But weÂ’ve been using a warehouse of our choice. Does this mean now we have no choice in the matter?

If you are in network for their lab, then I believe you will have to use Nassau. We don't use them for any lab services.
