I'm looking for info on Contact lens Distributors.
We are currently using ABB but with the new service fee in addition to shipping fees, it can cost $25 to restock trials used in office when not attached to a revenue order.
Anyone have other suggestions? I know WVA is an option but I haven't discussed fees with them.
We are doing many orders direct with manufacturers to save on costs but that can be a pain when needing to order from all 4 major soft lens companies.

We go direct. It is not a pain. Load all their websites in your favorites and order yourself. You get discounts doing it that way.
Doesn’t ABB ship free with a certain $ amount ordered at one time? Hold your orders till you have enough to cover shipping costs. That’s what we did at my last location.
Yeah, ABB is going to be literally WEEKS faster to ship than ANY vendor direct options we've tried. Cost is minimally different, and we always have revenue orders each day, in addition to diagnostics so overnight shipping is free.

We switched from ABB to e-dr.com. I do not know the specifics but apparently it's cheaper overall.
I do like ABB’s overall offerings. Wasn’t aware of the free shipping. Anyone know the order $ threshold for the free shipping?
Our office doesn't get free shipping from ABB on any size order.

Elvis, have you actually called them and asked about free shipping? They also set up our online portal for patients to order CL for free.
I know about annual supply orders shipped direct to pts, or thru their consumer portal (hello ABBY) having free shipping.
I am specifically referring to in-office orders for revenue boxes and trials. They are charging a service fee in addition to shipping for those orders. We are considering alternatives because of this.

Just for the heck of it, I just got a hold of my old office ( I retired 2 years ago). I was told it’s still free shipping to the office on orders and trials as long as there is a $250 minimum.
I spoke with ABB yesterday and was told once you reach a total of $275 their system waives the shipping fee.
