Chiller Location

So I have my chiller in the lab, but darn it gets really hot in there with it on. Can I move it outside to the covered shed where my Air compressor is in? I also live in the desert and it get about 120 degrees. The chiller is like a heater in there.

I would move the chiller out of the orifice and in with the compressor. Get some of that foam rubber pipe insulation to do the job right.

Keep cool.

Don't think of it as a chiller think of it as a heat exchanger, if you move it to an already hot location it's going to be working double duty to chill if it even chills at all. It will also overheat and break down pretty quickly.

Move the chiller to an indoor location, away from high traffic/work areas. Or, purchase a better chiller. Yours may be on its last leg. Yes, the heat exchange can be warm, but it should not be hot.
We have multiple chillers scattered throughout the lab, and none of them put out the type of heat that you state.
Big chiller for our two PRAs. Smaller chiller for our Engraver. Huge, and I mean huge! chiller for our Orbit 2. Chillers on all of our ToroFlexes and our Cobalt. No appreciable heat signature from any one of them.
The vacuums on our 7EXs run hotter than our chillers....
