I’ve talked to three labs that used to be able to get Zeiss and had a fine relationship with them. Now they can’t get any of their products. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I hate Zeiss. They make everything difficult. So much so that it’s not worth trying to work with them.
I'm pretty sure this happened Jan 1 of 2019. Zeiss moved all freeform lenses and coatings in house. Why would you even bother trying to get Zeiss lenses if you hate them so much?
