Ergonomics Anyone?
I have trained and became certified in Office Ergonomics recently. I started a program (and in development), a training to have OPTICIANS perform in-office lighting, ergonomic and computer evaluations. Out of that, I recommend/sell Computer Glasses, Custom Progressives and reading glasses. I have seen an uptick in business, as interest grows. I recently spoke to Dean Butler about this and he gave some VERY helpful insight.
If offered, would you take this training?

This is a great side-gig and/or offering that you can add to your offerings. As an Optician, I am amazed on how little the
Public knows about options.
I partnered with an independent Lab, to offer a bunch of options. In addition, I recently partnered with a company that offers Bluetooth Audio Eyewear. Is a GREAT on the computer from the Ergonomics stand point of hands-free. Add computer lenses to those and you have a nice little sale. I can get you in touch with both of these companies, if you want.
Thanks.
