Get out those pumpkins!

It's nice display.

Oh! I also want to see everyone's displays. I am going to pick up a few things this weekend to (pumpkin) spice up the shop for fall. I would love to find a pumpkin that would "wear" a pair of glasses.

Side note - I learned from LaramyK's Optician Works training materials that folks with larger noggins are called, and this is a technical term mind you, pumpkin heads. I definitely have a pumpkin head. I need those "luxury fit" ladies frames. :(

I have what is apparently a minor "football" head (if you are looking at a football from one end along the longitudinal axis, so not like Stewey Griffin). It's terribly frustrating. Glasses that are perfect for my face, are way too narrow for the sides of my head. If I choose a pair that fits the side of my head, it looks like I am wearing my father's glasses. I can't win.

I usually pick the ones that fit my face, and do absolutely horrifying things to the temples.
