Our ophthalmic technicians are required to:
-conduct visual fields
-perform fundus photography and retinal angiograms
-assist with intraocular injections
-applanation tonometry
-Ascan and Bscan
-assist with laser treatments
-must be a team player
-detail orientated multi tasker capable of working in a fast paced environment
-COA and COT experience desired but not required
Our ophthalmic scribes work alongside the ophthalmologist charting, organizing the day and follow ups.
We require our scribes to possess the following:
-a warm personality
-excellent hand writing
-team player
-detail orientated multi tasker capable of working in a fast paced environment
-prior experience as a scribe is a must
-knowledge in ophthalmology/optometry key words is required
-transcription a plus
