As explorer scouts (post 324) at the CBS affilate WSBT in South Bend, we produced 60 minute radio shows that aired on Sunday nights, and 30 minute TV shows every couple months during the late sixties. It was boring stuff on a really conservative old folks station. We did learn radio and TV, but the creative folks were never allowed to air their ideas. My most notable contribution was receiving a record number of complaint calls for playing the Stones "Let's Spend the Night Together" during the show I directed.
The skit above was from the South Bend NBC affiliate WNDU, on a show called Beyond Our Control. Not constrained by the scouting system, and with a younger college audience (Notre Dame), the young, local, radio and tv talent hung out here, thinking ahead of SNL's back seat circumcision commercial parody, and more.

And yes, the Hoosier-land motto is still "No taxes, no roads, no nothing".
