Light transmittance meter

The OD I work for asked me to research getting a light transmittance meter for the office so I can more accurately inspect lenses. What are the types and brands of light transmittance meters? Any recommendations? We have a small office and we process about 600 jobs a year.

Spectrometer? Blue light meter?

I'm not sure what it's called, but it would tell us how much light is being transmitted through a tinted or polarized lens. We sell therapeutic lenses to low vision patients.
