My DEA license is up for renewal. I can't remember the last time I prescribed a controlled substance. It will cost almost $900. I'm 69 years old and probably will not work much longer. I am thinking of not renewing, but am uncertain as to the possible consequences. Are there any consequences, other than just not being able to rx controlled substances?
