Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD):
- 80% pathology exams/20% comprehensive exams
- Scribe & Tech
- See 3-4 patients an hour
- Specialty Lens fittings a plus (not required)
- Mon-Fri – NO weekends
- Counsel patients regarding their vision needs
Compensation & Benefits:
- $150,000-$170,000 base + bonuses
- Benefits include Health, Dental, and Malpractice insurances, CE, retirement, State license, vacation
- W-2 Employee
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- O.D. licensed to practice in NM
