Omnilux nal concept multifocal lenses

I remember when the "Firmoo" guys used to spam Optiboard for search engine optimization. (It worked, apparently.)
Is that what all these "testimonials" about Omnilux are? Just fake advertisements for an online retailer selling V-shaped PALs (that don't really require much in the way of height or p.d. (because they don't really have a near zone to speak of)?

You are INCORRECT. These were redesigned using a new/patented algorithm by an Optical Engineer. Is NOT a fake, they WORK. I have fit 30 patients so far....NO REJECTS!

Algorithm my @$$. That's what people say when they're trying to sound smart and obfuscate. I'm not saying they're fake. I'm saying they're V-shaped PALs with a small near zone and a wide intermediate that is completely forgiving because it's so wide.

How's the near vision area? I haven't seen them.

It is not a secret and it is right on their page - GoSmartEyewear is not the "same" as OmniLux at all. GoSmartEyewear is an online retailer designed to provide high quality children’s eyewear at an affordable cost. OmniLux is a brand name of freeform/digital lens design portfolio. So the owner happens to be the Quest Specialty optical lab next door, so what? Who also happens to be the owner of QLDS, who also happens to be the patent holder of the OmniLux NAL & other designs, and happens to be the owner of other optical-related businesses. So what, there is no collusion or subterfuge or anything similar as you are needlessly trying to illustrate here. And to what end, other than to mislead industry colleagues and instigate problems where they don't exist? If there is some BS w/ adverse consequences going on, sure, I'm always on for exposing it, but you've done nothing but witch-hunt this topic w/ unsubstantiated hypotheses and proffered zero facts.

Furthermore, your claim that my personal testimonial, among others, is fake and/or spam?? How dare you. I am and have been a professional in this industry and on this forum for as long if not longer than you, so find this revoltingly disrespectful.

If you factor out another "Omnilux"-named product (face mask) Optiboard would be about the first page on a Google search.

This is just lazy and sloppy. So maybe next time do your homework first before making claims. Omnilux is a marketing name for a new multifocal lens concept that is backed by 2 US patents called the Natural Accommodation Lens. So let me make this very clear IT IS NOT A PROGRESSIVE LENS. The Natural Accommodation Lens has been licensed to 30-40 wholesale labs across the world for them to produce the lens themselves. It is sold under a number of different names not just the Omnilux name. If you spent 2 seconds and read the thread you would have realized this. Also if you read any of the other posts on here (which I am pretty sure you have which makes me question your motives) you would see I have given samples to other optical professionals who were not sure about the lens and they posted their experiences which is easily verified. Also it is offered mostly through brick and mortar locations not online. If you have any questions please feel free to ask and if not please stop spreading easily disproved lies. 1. New multifocal lens concept. It's not "progressive". It's "something else". But we don't know exactly what.
2. It's patented. It's marketed as "Omnilux". It's marketed as "Natural Accommodation Lens". Sounds neat. But is meaningless.
3. Testimonials are fine. Free samples are great.
4. "Mostly" through brick-and-mortar?
