Many independent labs are using either IOT or Horizon to supply their private label PALs. I'm finding the IOT designed lenses to be very good in pt satisfaction and good value on the wholesale side. Haven't dispensed any Horizon designs yet.

how can you tell if a private label is IOT or Horizon? Will the lab just tell you or are there tell-tale signs?

Most I've dealt with with tell you, a few won't. Many of them use the marketing jargon for that manufacturer so it is easy to figure out. If they say "clearview, ergopath, thinmax" those are Horizon terms. IOT uses terms like "digital ray-path, digital ray-path 2, steady or steady plus methodology"
