    Heat treating glass lenses

Does anyone have a good chart or formula for high index lenses?

We like to avoid heat treating, but occasionally it is needed :0)

    Thanks in advance!

The only way to go is to follow the chart provided by the manufacturer of the specific heat treater that you use or to use the formula the specific manufacturer provides. It is also prudent to calibrate the temperature of the unit and maintain a record of these calibrations.

:D If I had such chart, I would use it. I can tell you that we're
operating at 1250 F degrees, so it's unlikely that the model would effect the outcome too much. Anything in the ball park will help.
