This annoys me as well. VSP should know their own client's information. Why should I have to tell them the patient's gender and address?

I usually simply list the address as: 1234 Unknown St, Unknown Town, in our state and zip. Let VSP handle their own housekeeping. *shrug* I'm hardly paid enough to do their work for them.

Remember when small business pharmacies were common?

I'm concerned VSP will find this as a reason to drop an office as they ramp up CVS kiosks and promote chains near you shortly.

They said there is a glitch causing this and that they are working on it.

I'll update in a couple of weeks after our next statement comes in to be sure there is no charge associated with this code.

For now you do have to enter $0.00 before you can successfully submit an order.
I think that's the code from years ago when you would get paid a couple of dollars for a frame case. We used to have it show up from time to time on our claims and we would have to enter $0.00. We haven't see it in a long time, but it seems to have come back with the latest eClaim update

Certainly possible of course. But in reality, would it be *that* big a loss? If they want to become the next Warby or Zenni...let them.

Several of our long time employees would have to be let go if we lost VSP.
