Just a quick HELLO to you all. New to the board so wont say much now but have found the time here interesting. I would like to find out more about salaries for Opticians or Optical Dispensers in other countries. I know this is a broard question but Im sure you can point me in the right direction. I am gathering info for my association.

Congratulations on your first post and welcome to Optiboard. You will notice the search button in the upper right hand corner of the page. Just search for Optical Salaries. There have been a number of threads on that subject and you should be able to connect with one of them. Most of the questions that crop up for new members can be found answered in the Site information forum found at the bottom of the forums page.

Welcome Marti! I moved this thread to the General Discussion forum where it will get more notice. As harry pointed out the subject of salaries has come up several times on the Board. Do a search for 'salaries or salary' and you'll get a list of topics on this subject.
