My store has had Eyenet for a couple of weeks. They uploaded the latest version a few days ago - and it made it worse. We haven't really had any problems with Innovations, though. It's mostly the kind of problems Cassandra mentioned (like if it's a customer's own frame, it tries to make it a special order). A lot of the new additions are nice in theory, but they either don't work, or don't work well.
My biggest complaint was that they put us through a 3 hour training program (on CD-ROM), but it only contained about 10 minutes worth of useful information. The rest of the time involved some of the worst acting I have ever seen. And NONE of it involved lab operations.
V2K had its problems, but it was fairly easy to use and it rarely went completely down. Maybe it was because the OS wasn't made by Microsoft.

One of the simpliest things I miss about the old V2K system was the ability to leave a printed note from F7 files in a tray.... I haven't figured out how/if we are able to print the notes yet from the "paperclip" system. Anyone from LC stores able to help me out??? Also, TN is no-tax on RX glasses ....but our EyeNet program wants to tax all sun frames, regardless of whether Rxed or not. I have been going nuts trying to figure how to defeat/edit/delete the tax. Our visiting support associate said on our debut day we had to refund the tax in a refunded miscellanious repair, after the fact??? But that still makes it look like the customer paid us tax, and so the system will say we owe that to the state, eventually. Finally I got a hint from an associate from another store today.. I should make sure I am not breaking any "laws" first, but I definitely will be trying this soon!!! We got our Eyenet the week before Christmas.... :hammer:sigpic "The Good Lord gave us mountains so we could learn how to climb". ~ Lonestar
