Uv curing glue for lindberg rimless frames

Hi. We start doing LINDBERG rimless job , and I found that we are missing a main part to mount them ( UV glue).

does anyone know about that ( and I heart that UV glue can be used on any rimless job for covering small mistakes or prevent looseness
on lenses. Can someone help me on that.

Have you spoken to Lindberg directly?

We get our glue from them directly.

Of course, if you know the correct brand and type to order (I don't) any dental supply will have what you need.

Lindberg does sell the UV lamp but it was pretty pricey last time I looked. If you buy the non-UV glue directly from Lind., they will send the Loctite 401. As of a few months ago, this was still not available for sale in the US (per Loctite), so I order directly from Lindberg.

I typically treat them like a pressure mount when I find myself without the loctite glue. Ive sold them for approx 5 years now and havent had many complaints about them coming loose. Just a thought

This is a mighty old thread, so I thought I'd see about any updates. I had a guy just walk in with a loose drill mount lindberg. His frame is the one where the mount is a vertical slot/hole and the metal is folded over and inserted in the frame so that just a tiny bent section sticks out the front of the lens. The other mounts do appear to be glued in (I assume UV glue). The loose mount point doesn't appear to have any glue at all (which I assume means it just worked its way loose).

I'm trying to decide if I could repair them with a UV glue or Loctite 401 recommended above, or if I could find something else that would work well at a local home improvement center. All I have in office right now is some superglue and some 2 part epoxy and some jb weld.

Either use the proper Loctite 401, or send them to the closest Lindberg dealer. If the lenses are poly... ...good luck.
