Where all dem photochromics at yo???

Anyone else seeing a massive backorder on stock photochromics lately? We're enjoying 2+ month backorders so far for us through Nassau. Can't get any real answers from their reps, but a couple have mentioned it's Lux and their ridiculous Meta glasses that are sucking the stock completely dry. What are y'all hearing? Anything other than just - "Wait longer"?

    Insanity!

I don't have anything useful to add except that photochromics are always the most likely to be on backorder with Nassau and always have been.
I'm Andrew Hamm and I approve this message.

Hmmm. Trivex have been the real thorn in my side with them the past 2 years, but never the photo stuff. Well, not till last November at least. Now *everything* is OOS it seems. And they blamed Meta because...reasons? Just super weird...

Meta seems like a strange excuse because if you're ordering direct from Ray-Ban/Oakley or even through an Essilor lab they're going to use a Digital SV design so they would be surfaced anyway. Unless offices are doing stock sv and inserting the lenses themselves into the meta frames but I was under the impression that voided the warranty.

I dunno. I'd absolutely not put it past E to use stock grinders and pass it off as something else more "premium". Corporate or LC shops either one - but who knows really. All I know is I can't seem to get Nassau to fill any of my photo orders [Nassau or Shore] at the moment.
